The device status will say it ran into a problem running. When they do disconnect, it's the USB eXtensible Host Controller that has a little yellow exclamation mark on it. This sometimes happens if I disable and then enable, but it usually happens if I try scanning for hardware changes. ![]() I also recently have found that uninstalling, or disabling and then scanning for hardware changes crashes my computer, and it'll freeze for a second and then restart. I have uninstalled drivers, reinstalled drivers, but that doesn't fix it. However, during recording, all of my USB's sometimes randomly disconnect. Just as a note, I know a few things about computers but I've never physically fixed any computer, and have only solved a few software problems here and there so please bear with me and clear instructions on problem solving would be awesome, I figured this would be the best place to get help.īasically I record a lot of game footage with commentary, I also host a radio show. I had a few problems with them when I was using Windows 7, but updated drivers seemed to have fixed the problem. I've been having some USB problems as of late.
